As I said above,you can't ' get around immobiliser' and still be insured.The cheapest thing to try first will be the reader coil,but as in these cars they are just a coil of copper wire,they normally work or they don't work,there is no in between state.Other than that,you'll have to try a new cluster which will need programming to the car before you'll be able to start it.thanks for reply. ![]() Anyone any ideas of stuff I can try/test/check? It's taking 4-5 attempts to get a non-flashing icon pretty much every time I go to start the car now. This had no effect for me - immobiliser light still flashing after reconnecting up.(ii)leave ignition on (with icon flashing) for 10-15 mins and try again. ![]()
